Videocites is Stepping Up its Game, Recruiting Amos Varon as CRO

At a time of growing UGC, Videocites is helping brands and rights holders leverage trademarked and fans’ video content to tap into new revenue streams “Giving brands data and visibility into their content across social media like never before,” Says Amos Varon, newly appointed CRO of Videocites US.

Videocites, a cutting-edge technology company specializing in automated content detection solutions over social media, welcome Amos Varon as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of US operations. This new appointment will bring the expertise needed to increase Videocites’ partnerships with US leagues, teams, and brands. It will also help them reach their audiences, and unlock and leverage unprecedented data of branded videos, including UGC (user-generated content), unauthorized streams, and the overall media impact at scale.

Videocites has perfected its asset monitoring capabilities and video-fingerprinting technology to provide holistic monitoring, allowing brands to recognize and monetize their reach while continuously removing pirated videos on popular social media platforms. Its award-winning technology helps understand and maximize media impact and monetization opportunities by unlocking and analyzing trademarked assets and UGC content. Revealing fan engagement is critical in allowing brands to identify super fans and influencers, while better connecting with their audiences, uncovering new sponsorship opportunities, and increasing brand visibility.

Amos Varon has spent the last 20 years securing new partnership opportunities for BSE Global/Brooklyn Nets, The Madison Square Garden Company, and NASCAR conglomerates. His network and relationships across teams, leagues, and brands will be instrumental in driving new revenue to the company and will make him a key addition to the Videocites team. “Videocites revolutionary and transparent AI-powered video tracking service will be able to unlock previously inaccessible insights across social media to power team’s sponsorship, marketing, and ticketing businesses while giving brands data and visibility into their content across social media like never before,” Says Amos Varon, newly appointed CRO of Videocites US.

This is the second targeted hiring by Videocites, following Emilio Fernandez del Castillo, former Director of Operations, Content Protection at LaLiga. Emilio joined the Videocites team in late 2022 to foster partnerships with LATAM & Iberia and help more sports and media leaders identify and leverage UGC.

With the growth of the modern sports industry and countless unknown brand videos circulating online, finding solutions that combine anti-piracy algorithms, video identification, and media impact measurement will help companies leverage to grow their business further. “These additions to the team will be a major contributor in helping Videocites support more athletes and entertainers to connect with fans, increase revenue streams, and protect their video content,” said Eyal Arad, Co-Founder & CEO of videocites.
